Hair Tea encourages hair to retain its natural color and adds a brilliant luster, too!
I became curious about hair tea when my son said his friend's mom used a natural solution on her hair to minimize the gray color. After a long search and some unsuccessful experiments, I was elated when my daughter came across a recipe for a natural hair tea! First, she clipped some rosemary sprigs off our bush, combined them in a mug with dried sage and poured boiling water over the mix. After it had steeped for a while, it was cool enough to strain the tea into a spray bottle for me to take into the shower and use after shampooing. I let it stay on until the end of my shower, then rinsed it off.
Natural Hair Tea keeps for about a week. I get about 3 shampooings out of one batch. For best results, use continually. It may take several uses to notice improvement.
